Recipes for Home Made Non-Toxic Cleaners Many of the cleaners that we use around our houses are quite toxic. It's really easy to make our own non-toxic cleaners with stuff that most of us have around. |

Glass Cleaner Equal parts white vinegar and water. Pour into a spray bottle. Use a clean rag and wipe off with clean newspapers. The following recipes appeared in a sale flyer from our local food coop... Scouring Powder 1 cup baking soda 1/4 cup borax Mix together in a bowl. Store in a shaker. Shake onto wet surface and wipe with a wet rag. Rinse well. Wonder Spray 2 teaspoons borax 32 ounces hot water 1/4 cup white vinegar 1/4 cup liquid dish soap Dissolve the borax in hot water. Add the vinegar and pour into a spray bottle. Add the dish soap. Shake well before use. Can be used on most surfaces. May need to be rinsed off with water. |
