It started out as the wheels and frame of a '36 Harley, which was cut in two and built into an eight-seat bicycle. It was owned by the Shriners for many years, and sat in storage for many more, before finally being restored by the crew of Smithıs Cycle and Fitness. It is heavy and does not move very fast, but the communal riding experience makes it a complete blast to ride.
In this picture, the bike makes its way down Main Street in front of the Public Library. Among the riders are Mayor John Medinger, a few members of the staff at Smithıs, and some parade-day recruits.
